Broke out a new pair of Tangents today- hope to use them in Boston.  50 degrees out!  Did 1-mile warm-up followed by 3-mile tempo (6:21 pace), and then 2-miles worth of quarters (6x400), and a 1-mile cooldown- 8 miles total.  Legs were a bit dead due to mostly mp miles this week.  I've run only 40, but 30 @ mp or faster.

I wish I could...preaching on Sunday morning in CT (Palm Sunday), so won't arrive into Boston until early evening Sunday.

btw- you're 20-miler the other day was awesome...way to finish strong! I'll keep an eye out for the guy in flames.

It might be a little cold for the flaming shorts. The extended forecast wasn't too promising, rain, snow, blah. What wave/corral are you in? I'm 1/7 #6945

Good luck at Boston. Did you know that Saucony has discontinued the Tangents? Look at the Fastwitch or Mirage as a new shoe or buy as many Tangents as you can!

Rattletrap- I'm 3520, not sure which corral that puts me. We should be in the same wave though.

Jeff- I was wondering. I'm seriously bummed- it's the most confortable feel I've found for distance. Fastwitch is too light for me, so I've already ordered a pair of Mirage's to help get a feel. If I don't like them I may order a few pairs of the Tangents, yet they won't last forever.
