AM:  Jogged 1/4 mile to the road race course.  Ran first 6 miles firm, but not hard in a total of 42:19 (7:03 pace).  After running hard 3 days of the last 4, my legs actually feel as though they are starting to get stronger.  Finished the last 1.1 miles on the course with "cooldown" pace.  Hope to get another run in today.

PM:  Ran to Morris and back for a total of 10 miles...1st 5 in 38:37 (7:43 pace)...2nd 4 in 30:39 (7:38 pace)...last mile "cooldown".

I'm a little jealous. Your "cooldown" pace is my GMP :)

Paul, thanks...I've gone through a "dry spell" w/legs feeling dead...finally starting to wake up again.

Mike, actually the 2 cooldown miles were more of a 9min pace after being in the 7's most of the time. Hope your injury's improving.

OIC :)

My injury is getting better. I'm going to attempt a real run on Friday morning.
