Ran 8 miles in 1:04:29 (8:04 pace).  Plan on 12 in the morning then will transition into next stage of taper.  Looked at the 10-day weather report for Lowell...absolutely too good to be true- low's/40, highs/59, + cloudy in the morning with sunshine in the afternoon.  Wouldn't that be nice.

Triumphs 1- 339 miles

Looks like everything is coming together. Gotta like that forecast.

Weather looks cold for Detroit so I don't bother looking anymore. I find although I have qualified for Boston already I still feel pressure to run under 307 which seemed so easy a couple weeks ago but now with the taper I feel like I have fogot to run. going to run 10 % 6:50's tomorrow so I can feel sane again!!

Yes regardless we are blessed but running faster and faster and faster and faster is big bonus.

Happy Thans-giving.

I hope the weather holds for you. Sounds great. Hopefully you are feeling stronger now that you are cutting back on the miles. Good luck in your final week.

I'm starting to get a bit "stir-crazy". My sleep is mediocre and my weight has gone up a couple pounds (probably combination of cut mileage and water weight). Wish I could run on Wednesday rather than next Sunday. Will need to relax and just be patient. You modelled a great final week, so I'll follow your lead a bit. Again, good luck!

Good luck in your upcoming race. It is so cool to see your times go down as your weight goes down in your running accomplishments section.

Lybi,

thanks...it's been an enjoyable journey. I feel blessed just to be healthy and running.
