Joined my wife at the gym and took advantage of babysitting. We went out and found a 5-mile trail to run together. Finished up with 30-minutes doing upperbody weights.

That is so awesome. It was my wife's birthday yesterday and we had a bit of a workout together after my run then went for lunch.

Going to rest today, resist the hop on the TM 3-6 mile quick run. Excited to run tomorrow partly because I have been reasurred from you that it is ok to run a bit easier of a run tomorrow.

Here is my plan: Run with my buddy G 7:30's for the first 13 miles then speed up to marathon pace 6:52's not 6:30 - 6:45 so I am not too taxed. I figure if I can run the last 10 miles under 110 then that will be a great last long run.

What about your run? Good luck, feeling a lot more confident, my wife helped remind me about the meaning of the work INSPIRATION etc. We are not alone out there!!

Wise plan. I did something similiar today. Ran with a friend and both decided not to look at our watches, rather run by feel. It was definitely a "freeing" experience. As things turned out, we still ran mp on the final 9.5 miles. Good luck on your run Sunday. You're ready, so don't put too much pressure on yourself...enjoy it!
