Full night's sleep, healthy week of eating, sickness completely gone- feel the best I have in weeks.  No running today, rather lifted for 90 minutes.  Plan on a 20-miler tomorrow.

Run well tomorrow. We need to trust now more than ever, were fit.

Will take it easy tomorrow, skip 7 one mile repeats and run another 13.1 on Sunday. Next week I have 23 scheduled and that is it, getting closer!!

6.5 mile race, that is not the norm.

That's a great week of training. I will pray that your 20 miler goes as planned and you hit your target time.

Kory,

Thank you! The course we hit had 12 hills, 7-8 of them with significant incline. We had to work the entire time and then were able to easily push it on miles 19-20 (with much left in the tank). I appreciate your prayers! Hope I wasn't "out-of-bounds" with the AA comment- I keep reading that you might take a week off, then you're out running 10-15 mile runs the next day. I relate with your persistence. I once caught a double-header with a broken finger...wouldn't let the coach see my hand, but could only use pinky, fist, and open hand to call signals and was throwing "circle change-ups" to 2nd base on steal attempts. It's hard to sit out!!!

Your were by no means out-of-bounds. It's something I needed to hear. Not offended whatsoever. Coming from pastor your advice and guidance is well taken. My life needs to be more about God, and not about punishing my body to an addictive state.

I'm actually starting the week off to heal it's time. I can't train others when I'm not healed myself. I think I finally realized that.
